Kratie: The ambitious construction project of the "Bridge across the Mekong River in Kratie province and connecting roads" has reached significant milestones, with overall progress standing at 41.81%.

The project, which includes a 1,761-meter-long bridge spanning the Mekong River in Chit Borey and Prek Prosop districts, has seen the bridge itself achieve 55.83% completion. The connecting roads, which will link to Kratie City and span a total of 33.459 kilometers, are advancing steadily. The entire project is scheduled for completion before September 2026.

This infrastructure development is vital for the national economy, aligning with the second of the five key priorities—people, roads, water, electricity, and technology—under the first phase of the Pentagon strategy. The project aims to optimize the transport sector with strategic goals, focusing on building and strengthening infrastructure to support and enhance connectivity and development.
